The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly 2 or 5 km fundraising walk in support of the Mustard Seed and Red Deer Food Bank, who serves people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness.

Each year in February, tens of thousands of Canadians step outside the warmth and comfort of home to shine a light of welcome and compassion in their communities. Since 2011, the Coldest Night of the Year has raised over $75,000,000 across Canada in 190 Canadian communities – 100% of net proceeds stay local to support our CNOY charity partners.

Join us for an evening of music, an inspirational Christmas message from Pastor Bill, and a time of "candle lighting" using glow sticks as we celebrate Jesus, the Light of the World.

Celebrate the season with a full course catered meal and a fun evening for the whole family. Bring your best voice for some caroling and enjoy some fun, family entertainment. Tickets are just $25/adult and $10/child under 12. Tickets will be available for purchase on Sundays after the service at the welcome desk in the lobby. Items donated should be in “Like New” used condition--all sizes, all seasons, clothing/shoes/accessories.

Drop off of donations can be made until Sunday, October 12. Items can be dropped off any Sunday morning, plus Wednesday mornings and evenings starting October 1st.

Please bring your favourite muffins to share. Fruit & coffee/juice will be provided.

Hey kids…looking for something to do on your PD Day? Join us at Streams for a fun time of day camp happening every school PD Day throughout 2025/26. These events are free for kids K-Gr. 5.

Join us after the service for a Fall BBQ in the field across the road from Streams Church. There will be a free BBQ lunch and games for the kids. Bring a lawn chair and a friend. Can’t wait to see you there!

Hang out with us every Wednesday for October and November and grow in your faith with small group studies at Streams. There will be a group for all ages, kids to adults. Join us for pizza at 6pm, then break into your sessions from there. Dinner is $10/family. To sign up, please email the church office.
